ABOUT US

My School is a co-operative nursery school that has been operating in the Roncesvalles area of Toronto since 1982. The aim of My School is to offer 2 1/2 to 5 year olds a warm and stimulating setting in which he or she will gradually become more independent and self-confident. Your child will develop friendships and will learn to socialize in a way that should make the transition to kindergarten quite easy.

There is no set academic program and there is no formal reporting of progress between teachers and parent. The thrust of My School's program is for the children and the parents to enjoy themselves together.

A co-operative works well if all members are actively involved with the school. Active involvement necessitates a commitment of time and energy, but brings with it new friendships, for both children and parents, which leads to a greater sense of belonging in the community.
